Five days to go

The theme of the World Consumer Rights Day 2020 is: ‘The Sustainable Consumer’.

Sustainable consumer is about the behavioral patterns of consumers towards the supply chain, choice of products and services and disposal of wastes.

As a sustainable consumer you can give up an action or behaviour that harms your health or the environment.  These include reading and applying product labels; eating locally grown food with less animal products; purchasing reusable products; avoiding unsafe products; and adoptingproper disposal of wastes. Kindly pledge to be a more sustainable consumer by sharing on your social media platforms; the pledge below packaged by Consumers International.

Consumers International (CI), with over 200 members from more than 100 countries, has been championing the rights of consumers for about 60 years. Consumer Awareness Organisation is a member of CI.

Be an active consumer; join the activities to mark the World Consumer Rights Day 2020.
